Zoë Claire Miller

Zoë Claire Miller was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1984, and studied Fine Arts in Karlsruhe under Professor John Bock, completing her education in 2010 with a degree in Sculpture. She lives and works in Berlin, and her work has been exhibited throughout Germany and internationally. She mainly uses ceramics to engage with iconographical issues in the grey area between high and low culture and dispositifs embodied in relics from the recent past. Her work revolves around negative space, personal relationships with inanimate objects, and a fascination with materiality and objecthood viewed from a semi-archeological perspective.
